In their own time, Chihiro enjoys making food, spending time with loved ones, going for walks, reading, and creating art in various forms, including writing. Oh and they absolutely welcome spending time with fluffy friends and more!

It is important to Chihiro that you feel empowered and cared for in who you are and with your decisions. With extensive background in social services and anti-violence work, their values and practices are deeply rooted in philosophies of harm reduction and trauma-informed care. They will account for the diverse identities and experiences you may be carrying with you without specific disclosure.

They also welcome and highly encourage open and honest communication. They are your advocate and support, please do not hesitate to discuss with them what you feel is important, whether that is feedback, your triggers, or your concerns. They will listen with an open heart and without judgement.

Chihiro is a trained birth worker and offers the following two services. They are also an approved service provider for the Doulas for Aboriginal Families Grant Program (DAFGP).*Please note that the DAFGP is currently on pause. If you are a BIPOC community member who requires funding for a doula, your primary care provider can refer you to the Nesting Doula Collective for funded doula support.

After your initial contact/inquiry, an hour meet-and-greet will be scheduled for us to get to know each other better, ask questions, and to assess our compatibility. After receiving the confirmation to move forward within the week, a contract will be sent to for you to sign, which will confirm the booking and we will move on to booking our first visit.

It provides information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexual violence, including victims of human trafficking exploited for labour or sexual services.
